Position Summary: We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Manager-Finance, CCC.
In this role, the successful candidate will assist Director of Finance in fiscal management of the Cancer Center and affiliated satellites, including financial statement preparation, annual budget preparation, analytical reviews of revenue and expenses, and management of the Cancer Center financial analysts. Responsible for monthly financial closings.
Manage financial reporting processes for the Cancer Center and affiliated satellites (separate stand alone financials). This includes management of the monthly financial statement close and preparation process, including the review of journal entries and variance analysis from financial analysts. Manage the accumulation of supporting schedules and key performance indicators that are included in the financial statement package for the Hospital.
Manage accumulation and presentation of annual budget information for the Cancer Center. Work directly with department managers on their expense budget submissions. Oversee input of budget information by the financial analysts into the Hospitals budget system. Collaborate with Hospital finance department management to ensure the Cancer Center budget is accurately reflected in the consolidated Medical Center fiscal year budget.
Manage accumulation of other financial reporting requirements including but not limited to daily flash report, weekly volume statistics, daily cash receipts and A/R balance reporting, Cancer Center scorecard, revenue cycle scorecard.
Responsible for the supervision and management of Financial Analyst staff including performance management, staff selection, assignment and delegation of work and staff discipline.
Perform other duties as required, including ad hoc financial analysis and projects.
Minimum Qualifications: To qualify you must have a Bachelors Degree in Finance/Accounting required. Minimum of 3 years healthcare finance experience. Strong knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles.
Preferred Qualifications: CPA and/or MBA experience using decision support systems. Knowledgeable accounting background and attention to detail.
Qualified candidates must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.
