BHS Foodservice Solutions, one of the nation’s top distributors of food-service equipment and supplies, is seeking a Chief Financial Officer. Located in Buffalo, NY, CFO sits on the Senior Leadership Team and will report directly to the President of this 90+ employee, private equity-owned company.
The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) serves as a key member of the senior leadership team and as a highly visible, integral part of the company’s strategic decision-making process. The CFO is responsible for all financial and administrative functions of the company, including finance and accounting, audit, facilities, risk management, contracting, and IT.
The ideal candidate will be a strong critical thinker and hands-on leader with experience with complex project accounting. Commitment to quality and accuracy is necessary for success in this role.
Master’s degree in Business strongly preferred, Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting or Finance required
CPA certification required
7+ years of financial leadership experience
Strong experience with complex percentage-of-completion project accounting
Demonstrated ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with key stakeholders
Team builder and team player
Focus on results
Prior experience leading IT professionals a plus
Experience in distribution a plus
Experience working with private equity a plus
Experience with Navision system strongly preferred
