Prestigious architectural firm located in downtown Manhattan seeks an Assistant Controller for their Accounting Department. Only applicants with 2-7 years of experience and a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting will be considered. CPA is preferred but not required.
Accounting, Finance and Treasury:
Collect, interpret and present financial data to the Controller
Assist with the preparation of the annual budget.
Develop and track systems and financial metrics.
Provide timely reports that track financial metrics against established goals and budget
Manage deliverables for Payroll, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and Invoicing.
Proficient in Deltek Vision and other related financial software.
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, CPA and experience in Public Accounting preferred
Income Tax planning and compliance (Federal, State and Local income and business taxes)
Preparation of work papers for Independent Auditor’s annual review.
Executing banking transactions and perform bank reconciliations.
Maintain the books and records of foreign and domestic subsidiaries.
Oversee and work with the third party administrator managing the company 401K plan.
Special projects and ad-hoc reports as needed
