The Senior Financial Analyst will be responsible for developing, interpreting, reporting, measuring and implementing financial and accounting concepts for financial reporting. The analyst will be responsible for coordinating monthly reconciliations, reporting and analysis.
Key Responsibilities include:
Coordinate financial internal control roles such as reconciliation and account analysis
Establish / manage month end / quarterly close procedures, policies and reporting
Work closely with the AVP Financial Management to assess progress, review budget to actual, and completeness of financial information
Ensure data integrity of the accounts system
Identify ways to streamline the day-to-day accounting operations and make processes more efficient
Coordinate preparation of year-end working paper files and financial statements
Assist with the preparation of ad hoc reports, financial reviews and special projects
Participate in various teams that evaluate procedures, financial information, train on systems, etc.
Assist in special projects as assigned by Assistant Vice President Financial Management.

The incumbent in this position must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or other equivalent field as well as a minimum of two years of directly related experience.
An advanced degree in any of these fields and/or CPA certification is strongly preferred.
