UB Associates (UBA) is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to manage UBA financial operations and work closely with staff and the 18 UBMD physician practices to improve productivity, efficiency and cost effectiveness. Area of responsibility will include, but are not limited to, finance and accounting, administration and maintaining relationships with UBMD member practices, the Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences at the University at Buffalo and other external parties. The CFO will develop and execute UBA's financial strategy and support UBA's Executive Director and Presidents of the UBMD practices with the preparation and review of quarterly and annual financial plans. In collaboration with the Executive Director and the Board of Directors, Executive Committee, Finance Committee, Audit Committee and other committees as required, the CFO will develop financial and accounting strategies, analyses and recommendations, as well as develop the annual budget and report performance results. The CFO will provide direct supervision over the finance/accounting and administrative personnel and be responsible for some human resource functions.
Salary Range: $115,000 – $150,000
CPA Required. Excellent communication and presentation skills along with supervisory experience. Must have independent judgement and decision making capacity and the ability to maintain a fast pace while working autonomously.
