Advertised Summary Job Description: Reporting to Financial Control Manager: Provides support relative to the department's financial activities which includes but is not limited to:
Processing all check requests, purchase requisitions and travel expense reimbursements through CU systems and NYP systems Preparation and posting of journal entries Managing Accounts Receivable from affiliated parties (sends invoices, reconciles payments) Preparation of monthly reconciliations between practice plan billing and bank Processes donations and manages all accounts receivable activity through CU Preparation of correspondence relating to financial Assist with preparation of budgets, financial reports and other analyses
General Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance/business advanced or equivalent in education and experience plus two years of related experience. Advanced knowledge of MS Office (excel, word and PowerPoint); strong interpersonal and communication (orally and written) skills; experience with ARC system preferred
Additional Specific Minimum Qualifications: Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint required; and grants administration highly desired.
Preferred Qualifications: Advanced degree/CPA is a plus
